これまでメインで使っていたマウスはホイールの調子が悪かった。その状態のまま約1年使ってきたわけだが、Webやメールを見るときにはキーボードを使ってスクロールしていたので特に困ることはなかった。しかし、最近になって塗装が剥げてきたり、底面の汚れでスムーズに動かなくなってきたりと使用に差し障る問題が起きてきたため、新たなマウスを購入することを決めた。
最近はワイヤレスのマウスも増えてきているようだが、操作性や電池の問題から今回は有線のものを選んだ。
一般的なマウスに比べると若干小ぶりである。本体左側面に親指を置くための凸がある。
今回購入したのはELECOMのM-SSUP2RSVD。左側面の親指を乗せられるスペースがかなりいい。少し大きめな私の手にもしっかりフィットしている。欲を言えばもう5mm高さが低くてもいいか。
しかし、肝心のサイドスクロール機能はあまり使い道がなさそうである。しかもソフト駐在させておかなければだめだし。。。
