５GBのMDを入手できそうな

　ひょんなことから、友人からNOMAD Muvo2というデジタルオーディオプレイヤーに内蔵されている5GBのMD（マイクロドライブ）を安値で譲っていただけることになりました。その友人は、モバイルノートPCに内蔵する予定だったのですが、変換基盤との相性が×だったらしく私に商談を持ちかけてきたそうです。

ネットでいろいろ探してみると、このMDをD70で正常に使用できたという事例が数多く報告されているみたいなので相性の問題はなさそうです。

私は、これまで512MBのCFを使っていたので、約10倍もの大容量はかなり魅力です。
しかしながら、少し不安な点もあります。それは信頼性です。
MDはかなり小さいとは言えども立派なハードディスクです。なので、CFと比べると、振動や衝撃、耐久性が多少弱そうな気がします。
昔、価格.comの掲示板でもCFとMDどちらがいいか、といったような話題がありましたが、最終的な結論は出ていなかったように思います。

最終的には、信頼性重視ならCF、コストパフォーマンス重視ならMD、といったところでしょうか。。。
